I started this project to begin getting my hands dirty with art supplies again. I had been solidly working on graphic design for work, spending endless hours on client projects in front of a computer and was left day dreaming about my favorite places to travel. Inevitably that strung eccentric thoughts of wandering, mountains, spacemen and breaking through the routine textures of my life, and fulfilling my desires of being somewhere else. Even if only for a moment in an image. These pieces are now collaged together, adhered to thick boards of wood, hanging in my studio gallery and varnished over for a glossy solid finish.
